Flowers

                 This is just a few of the flowers we have come to know while visiting Breedevlei. Most of the flowers above are planted in plantations. There is also natural fynbos we are yet to discover. To mention a few names, there are 'sewejaartjies', a foliage called 'kol kol' and plenty of 'heide'. We are still amateurs but our knowledge of the Cape Floral Kingdom will grow with time. We couldn't have asked for a better man to learn from than Breedevlei's previous owner, Leon Visser. He loves his flowers and knows all of them by name. Hopefully we will be able to carry on farming the flowers with as much grace, respect, love and knowledge as Leon did.
